Finnish Lapphund Club of Victoria Specialty

Saturday 6th July 2013

 

Today we attended the FLCV specialty at Bulla, Victoria. With X Lapphunds in attendance, it was fantastic to catch up with so many Lappies and their owners. 

 

The judge was Matti Tuominen from Finland. Although Mr. Tuominen hasn't judged Lapphunds in Finland in recent years, he is well respected in his home country and has judged Lapphund specialties.

Canine Amenities Club of Victoria

We had a lovely day at an all breeds show at Bulla today. Oddly enough, the only Lappie exhibitors were from WA & NSW! It was great to get to the know the WA Lappie crew better and we survived the Antarctica like temperatures!

Riverina District All Breeds Kennel Club Show

Friday, Saturday & Sunday 19th, 20th, 21st July 2013

 

This weekend we travelled to Temora for the Riverina District All Breeds Kennel Club Show. Even though we were the only Lappies there, tt was a fun showing weekend with a theme of 'Christmas in July'. 

 

Mushka was the superstar of the weekend, winning best of breed all days and best Australian Bred in the Working Dog Group on the Friday. Mushka has really come into his own recently, after only commencing in the show ring last October and having a break for the first half of this year. We are very proud of our handsome boy!
