The Finnish Lapphund breed has a vibrant, supportive and caring community, both in Australia and overseas. I always say, when you get a Lappie, you don't just get a dog you get a community. And it's a very special community to be apart of.

NEW SOUTH WALES
The Finnish Lapphund Club was founded in 2012. It supports Lappie owners in NSW by holding social and educational events, manages the best interests of the breed in conjunction with the FLCV and promotes the breed within NSW.
​
The FLCNSW is a not for profit association run by a committee of volunteers, with a membership of over 400 people.

The Australian Capital Territory does't have a breed club, but they do have a dedicated and passionate group of Lappie owners who organise regular Lappie meets.
