Athena x Ukko

We are delighted to announce our planned Athena x Ukko litter, a pairing we have been looking forward to for some time. This combination brings together two lovely representatives of the breed, both known for their wonderful temperaments, sound structure and engaging personalities.

Athena is a sweet, affectionate girl with a beautiful gentle nature. She has a very people-focused personality and forms strong bonds with her family, always happy to be nearby and involved in whatever is happening. Athena approaches new experiences with a thoughtful confidence and shows the lovely balance of softness and resilience that we aim to produce in our breeding program. She is also playful and enjoys time with the other dogs, showing excellent social skills and an easygoing nature.

Ukko is a confident and friendly boy who brings a lovely presence wherever he goes. He has a happy, stable temperament and is the type of dog who takes new experiences in his stride. Ukko is affectionate without being demanding and has the classic Finnish Lapphund combination of intelligence, food motivation and willingness to engage with his people. He has a lovely masculine type and contributes strong breed characteristics to this pairing.

We expect puppies from Athena and Ukko to be affectionate, clever and adaptable, with the stable temperaments that make Finnish Lapphunds such versatile companions. These puppies should have a nice balance of playfulness and calmness, making them suitable for a variety of homes including families, couples and active companion homes.

As with all Orical puppies, these babies will be raised with careful early socialisation, enrichment and positive exposure to help them develop confidence and resilience. We focus heavily on producing well rounded puppies that transition smoothly into family life.
