Finnish Lapphund breed health

Finnish Lapphunds are a generally healthy breed; with origins exemplifying 'survival of the fittest' on the arctic tundra over thousands of years. Once in modern hands, the Nordic breeders work was and remains diligent, responsible and transparent. Which has resulted in the breed being relatively healthy today. It is a a responsibility for each breeder to carry on this high level of care and guardianship of the breed. Here we share with you the information generally asked about breed health.
